Tom Bals

Based in Amsterdam Tom is the General Manager of Gyro for the Benelux and responsible for the development and delivery of integrated communication programs and campaigns in the Dutch, Belgian and Luxembourg markets.

Tom has a decade of experience with the marketing and development of complex communications solutions. Previous to joining Gyro, Tom has held senior positions in the fields of Marketing and Product Management during his six years of employment with MCI, In his last role he was the Marketing Director for the Enterprise Networking portfolio for MCI in EMEA.

He joined MCI from UPC where he was responsible for introducing and developing cable modem Internet in the greater Amsterdam area.

Prior to that, after completion of his Atheneum (secondary education) and a degree in marketing and business economics in the Netherlands, Tom obtained a Master of Business Administration from Western Carolina University in North Carolina. Following his studies, he held a number of account management positions in the publishing industry, among others for Elsevier Business Information.

Tom's mission is to capture complex communication challenges and convert these into appealing and result generating integrated campaigns and programs.
