Robert Ray
Having joined Gyro as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Gyro New York, Robert has now moved to fulfill the same role in Gyro San Francisco. In this position he is responsible for ensuring that our clients’ business objectives are met through our strategic planning and creative execution.
Prior to joining the agency early in 2005, Robert held executive level marketing roles on the client side. Most recently, Robert led the worldwide marketing organization at Enterasys Networks. He also held executive marketing roles at Williams Communications and Nortel throughout the 1990s. Robert's unique perspective of how our clients' objectives and complex messages have to be internally and externally communicated provides Gyro with a differentiated approach from traditional agency strategies.
The foundation of Robert's career began working in public policy and press relations in Washington, DC. During this time, Robert worked for Senator Phil Gramm from Texas and the United States Senate Press Office.
A Texas native, Robert graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. Among his passions, advertising and marketing come second only to his wife and three daughters.
