Jon Pollard

Since joining Gyro in 2003, Jon has been responsible for developing Gyro’s in-house Digital capabilities to provide a top-quality network wide team supporting a full range of services to every office in the network. The single Gyro Digital team operates across all our offices and defines, designs and develops solutions for almost all Gyro clients.

Jon started his career at British Airways, working primarily in Customer Service Management at Heathrow Airport, before leaving to undertake a significant career shift into broadcast media. After spending five years producing radio and television programmes for a variety of networks, including BBC 1 and 2, and Channel 4, he found himself increasingly involved in developing online support for the broadcasts, and made the inevitable jump from Old to New Media in 1997, when he joined Europe’s largest independent web agency, Bluewave.

Having reached the position of Group Production Director there, he left to form his own agency in 2001, eventually bringing his development team there with him when he came to Gyro two years later.

Jon’s core responsibilities involve ensuring that the Gyro Digital offering is comprehensive and delivered consistently across the network, as well as providing strategic consultancy to clients regarding their digital activity.
